My name is Koen Smedts and I have started Smedts Logistics in October 2021. I gained my experience at several agricultural trading companies before I started my own business. This work also required transport, so I have experience with transport via walking floors, containers, belt trailers, and tautliners. With this, I built up an international network of carriers across Europe.
I saw many opportunities with companies that were looking for the right transport to get their product from A to B. Whether it was general cargo or loose goods; I always had the solution for the companies I was in contact with. It made me happy to help others with their logistical issue and then connect them to the right partner. This passion gave me the idea to start my own transport mediation company. And that is Smedts Logistics!
